I noticed that engine temp only got to about 206 F and I only drove a total of about 8 miles. The latest it shut off when coasting down was 20 mph and the highest was about 32 mph. Since I was just driving around town I never got above 40 mph. It is extremely sensitive to throttle application.
I thought my experiment failed and was heading home when all of a sudden the light came on. What I have found after the initial test drive was that MDS doesn't even work until the engine is nearly warmed up. I can see the most difficult part will be routing the wires into the car and mounting the light somewhere. I'll post when I finalize the installation.
